WHO WE ARE

ICE is a global Civil Engineering platform where engineers train and learn new concepts through the organization. ICE is also a body that turns realizations into actions.

ICE - Student Chapter at UET Peshawar is a chapter of the Institution of Civil Engineers, headquartered in London. The Institution was first created back in the year 1818 for a united and global engineering cause.

Our chapter of ICE came into existence in the year 2009 for the purpose of representing and helping our department of civil engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar.

WHAT WE DO

Our chapter has been on the fore-front of taking initiative and working towards our goals a global cause. We have been able to put up events and seminars at our university for enhancing careers and broadening the vision of our students.

We have also taken an initiative to connect the students of our university with the universities of different countries.

Greetings, I, Muhammad Shaoor Khan, as the president of the Institution of Civil Engineers - Student Chapter at UET Peshawar welcome you all to your organization, where you are the leaders and you are the pioneers of change.

I have had this great opportunity of leading our chapter for the past 9 months now and have achieved much throughout this time. I have been involved with ICE for the past 3 years now and have learnt much from this great experience. ICE is a platform where those who are eager to work can gain a great amount of experience and confidence in taking up  any volunteer task.

I myself have gained a lot from this experience. During my time, I have established links with a few universities abroad, and have also been selected for a leadership program to Russia.

I hope all of our members and volunteers could learn much about working in a team, management, technicality, and leadership as this is the platform that gives them a chance for free as a student. After student life you won't be able to learn and practice such skills, rather you will be required to perform them assuming you would already know how to work in such an environment.
